![]() ![]() We caught the seal show which was pretty good. Clearly, the exhibits were designed with this in mind. What amazed my daughter and me was how close you could get to many of the animals. The 3 African elephants were the #1 attraction for both of us, but there are a lot of other popular animals, too: giraffes, a bear, a leopard, some bison, etc. The zoo is clean, the people are nice, and it is very walkable for a young child. But this time-for the same amount of time in the car-I took my 5 year old to Roger Williams. I usually take my kids to Southwick's in Mendon which is about 45 minutes away. Would definitely suggest going during the week and showing up early especially if you have young ones. The pumpkins were great too bad there is not a better system. When we left there were people waiting for an hour or more to just get to the ticket booth - we felt bad like someone should mention this to them- my husband mentioned this to one of the staff and she said we'll get em all in but another staff member told me sometimes they don't so those people just waited for hours for nothing. It was pretty funny watching eveyone race out at the end. Felt bad for the parents they were stuck there trying to get out as fast as they could. ![]() Saw our first pumpkin at 8:05 Then the trail is so crowded was hard to move around and lotsa grumpy children who were bored and tired from the wait. we got up to the ticket booth fairly quickly so we assumed we beat the long line.wrong once we got in we were greeted with a long line. read the website and was prepared for the long line, also prepared to skip it if it was a 2 hour wait. ![]()
